What is the instrument registration number?

When you review a title search you will notice a number in the “Registration Number” column of each registered item reported on the title search. This is the instrument number. This number is important because this number identifies the actual document that was registered against title. A Parcel Register* (POLARIS Parcel Register*) will show you the date, name and type of registration. The instrument number will lead you to the instrument image (which can be purchased in the GeoWarehouse Store) which contains even more detailed information.
